Dr. Connie Martinez, PsyD, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker in California. She earned a Doctor of Psychology, with an emphasis in Clinical Psychology, and experience in neuropsychology. She is neurodiversity-affirming and works with cultural humility. She approaches therapy as a relational, ethical, and healing practice grounded in client's autonomy, nervous system safety, and self-defined goals. Her primary responsibility is to support regulation, meaning-making, and agency. She views the therapy room as a protected space where clients are met with curiosity, invitation, and deep respect for human complexity.

Dr. Martinez is a Nature as Medicine Practitioner, certified by the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy Guides and Programs and Nature and Systems Institute, accredited by Mass General Brigham. She offers integrative psychotherapy to individuals, both virtually and with optional in person Walk and Talk sessions in outdoor green spaces.

Walk and Talk Therapy offers an option of engaging in psychotherapy while walking slowly in a quiet, natural setting. This approach can support emotional regulation, reduce the intensity of traditional face-to-face sessions, and create space for reflection and movement. Sessions are always guided by clinical appropriateness and client preference.
