Danielle Bouchard
Board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Danielle is passionate about helping others recognize time in nature as an essential component of health
Danielle is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 15 years of clinical experience, a Nature as Medicine Practitioner (founding member), and an ANFT-certified Forest Therapy Guide. Bridging clinical expertise with a deep belief in the restorative and regulating power of the natural world, her work is rooted in the understanding that connection—to self, others, and nature—is central to well-being. She is passionate about helping others recognize time in nature as an essential component of health: not a luxury, but a fundamental human need and a powerful, accessible pathway to healing.
Drawing on a commitment to integrating evidence-based care with the innate wisdom of the natural world, Danielle incorporates nature-informed practices to support resilience, stress reduction, emotional balance, physical health, and whole-person wellness. She offers guided immersive nature sessions and forest therapy walks, and formally prescribes nature as medicine by writing individualized nature Rxs. She works with individuals and groups of all ages, and welcomes collaboration with organizations and communities interested in nature-centered care.
